Rusty Tugman is a Strata Certified Trainer. In addition to his work with Strata, Rusty also serves as the Leadership Trainer & Workplace Coach for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, an agency of over 6,000 employees. In that role, Rusty trains, coaches, and consults with supervisors, managers, and executives on all matters related to leadership, paying special attention to aligning systems, people, and values with the organization’s goals and aspirations. He has gained a reputation for bringing out the best in people and helping teams achieve peak performance.

Rusty is an organizational leadership specialist, a certified workplace coach, and an in-demand event speaker who has keynoted multiple national events. He has conducted training for government, university, sports, non-profit, and religious organizations. With nearly 30 years on the frontlines of leadership, Rusty is well-versed in the mechanics of leading others. He combines his academic background with a pragmatic approach that makes his training an interactive and meaningful experience.

Rusty holds two master’s degrees and multiple certifications covering such topics as systems theory, conflict resolution and mediation, counseling, communication, project management, personality development, and leader-employee relationships. He is driven to serve others and believes that leaders are at their best when they are focused on creating environments where people can succeed and discover fulfillment.

Rusty is a proud husband and father, a bad but enthusiastic guitar player, an avid reader, and a big baseball fan who still dreams of playing for the St. Louis Cardinals.
